Virtual Reality

VR in laymen’s terms is a 3D world that basically surrounds you optically much like the real world. It achieves this by the user/viewer wearing a “Head Mounted Display” (HMD). The HMD presents a split screen image to the viewers left and right eye independently. Using specially curved lenses (known as fresnel lenses) the viewer is able to look around in full 360 degrees the same way we do in the real world.
